When I was engaged and planning my wedding, I remember thinking that I didn’t want to use flowers as my centerpieces. I wanted to do something unique and different, so I actually had my Dad create wooden boxes that we then covered with vellum paper that we had printed photos of my husband and I on. We then placed a hurricane vase and candle inside and voila! the room was glowing and it felt very personal. Ever since then, I love when I see things that are different at a wedding. Yes, flowers are lovely, but the soft glow of a candle is just magical, and you’ll see why candles make the most romantic wedding decor when you scroll down.
1 – Light up the aisle
This adds so much romance to the walk down the aisle. Most churches are beautiful and grand in their own right, but the addition of these lanterns brings everything up a notch.

2 – Glowing greenery
Candles intertwined with greenery creates an earthy feel that would look great in an indoor reception too.

3 – All in a row
I love the idea of a long head table with seating on either side and the setting is made even more intimate with the square vases placed all in a row.

4 – A shabby chic design
This tablescape has a decidedly vintage appeal with the pink roses in the antique silver vase. And I love the addition of small antique tealight holders that seem to sparkle next to the flowers.

5 – Glass on glass
If you are the type of couple who loves wine, this seems like the perfect setting for you. Whenever I sit down at a table with multiple glasses in front of me, I know I am in for an elegant evening – and some great wines! Plus, there is something enchanting about how the candlelight from the centerpiece hits all of the glass that is on the table.

6 – A warm glow
These candles feel so romantic next to the various floral arrangements on the table. I love how the centerpiece plays with different heights among the candles and florals.

7 – Yellow and Ivory
The circular hurricane vases of this centerpiece are a lovely compliment to the small yellow and ivory floral arrangements. And the addition of the antique tea light candles finishes the look perfectly.
